An Art Education Event by Lakewood Center for the Arts

A free socially distant evening of art demonstration and gallery viewing

If you’re like us, you’re craving an opportunity to see visual art and meet the artists! At Lakewood Center for the Arts, we’re unable to open our Entryway Gallery with our usual receptions, but we can offer a limited visual art event outside for you!

Art Decked Out is a series of socially distanced art lecture/demonstrations sponsored by Lakewood, and is one of several new programs resulting from the limitations created by COVID-19. Guests are asked when attending to respect all current health code requirements regarding social distancing and masks. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs (we will have some chairs).

On specified evenings, this arts education program will take place on Lakewood’s entryway deck for a limited group of 50 people only. Each offering will feature a short presentation and/or demonstration by an artist and will be followed by limited entry into Lakewood’s gallery (8 masked people at a time) to view the current art exhibit. Snacks and beverages can be ordered through Nicoletta’s Table & Marketplace. Tickets for each event must be secured in advance online only.  This event is free but donations are encouraged to support Lakewood events. Tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis – click here.
