Audience Info & Policies

Audience Information

Please arrive at the theatre on time - As a courtesy to patrons and performers, latecomers are seated at the discretion of the management. We cannot guarantee your seating location if you arrive after the start of the performance. No children under 6 please.

Electronic Devices - Please refrain from using phones and electronic devices during performances. Please also deactivate alarms on electronic devices.

Restrooms - Restrooms on the main level are to your left as you exit the theatre and also downstairs opposite the community meeting room. There is an elevator for your convenience.

Parking - Please park in the lot off Middlecrest Street behind our building. Please be considerate of our neighbors. Do not park in the apartment complex lot next door or block nearby driveways!

Food/Drink: No food or drink in the Headlee Mainstage - Please enjoy your concessions before entering the Headlee Mainstage lobby. Bottled water and Lakewood souvenir cups are okay.

Assisted Listening Devices - We have assisted listening devices for checkout before the show at the Box Office. A hearing loop has recently been installed for Lakewood’s Headlee Mainstage through the generosity of a designated gift from Don Nussmeier.
Please switch your hearing aid to the T-coil position and then your hearing aids will pick up the sound source coming through the loop.

Exchange or Recycle Your Seat - Ticket exchanges can be made with a 48-hours notice for the same production. There is no fee for season subscribers. Single ticket buyers are subject to a $5.00 per ticket exchange fee. We hope you will attend all the productions, but if you are unable to use your tickets you can return them for “recycling.” We do not offer refunds, but we will mail you a receipt for your gift to a non-profit organization if we re-sell your seat.

Ushers - Our volunteer ushers are here to assist you and make your experience an enjoyable one. Over the course of one season, there are over 600 opportunities to usher at Lakewood. Would you like to volunteer? Visit our website at www.lakewood-center.org and click on “support us” tab to see volunteer to learn more.
