The Lakewood Center Associates (LCA) is a group of volunteers who serve as the auxiliary arm of the Lakewood Center for the Arts. The group was founded in 1984 to help raise funds to support the arts education and theatre programs at the Center. The Associates have raised well over a million dollars, which have been used for building renovations, Warner Hall, landscaping, the endowment fund, arts education, play sponsorships, and a variety of other projects vital to Lakewood.
LCA members meet monthly from September through May to conduct business and hear speakers on topics of interest. Members also volunteer to work in Re-Runs, a thrift and consignment shop located on the main floor of Lakewood Center. The shop is filled with an ever-changing inventory of furniture, artwork, jewelry, and household items.
Re-Runs is open Monday through Saturday from 11 AM until 3 PM, and an hour before plays on Thursday nights. It is currently open by appointment via email: Lakewood.LCA@gmail.com. Items are accepted for consignment by appointment only on Tuesdays, 11-1:30. Please call the shop to make an appointment 503-636-8377. Minimum value of $30.
Donations in good condition gratefully accepted anytime shop is open.

Re-Runs
The Associates major fund raiser is the Re-Runs shop, housed at the south end of the main floor of the Lakewood Center for the Arts. The Shop has an ever-changing inventory of antiques, collectibles, second hand treasures, donated items and is operated by volunteer members of the LCA organization.Re-Runs Hours:
Monday – Saturday from 11 AM – 3 PM
Thursday performance nights from 6:30 to 7:15 PM
Consignment:

Associates Meetings
In addition to working in the Re-Runs Shop once a month, an active Associates member is expected to help with fund raising events and 1 monthly luncheon a year. The Associates meet each third (3rd) Thursday of the month, September through May. Coffee and conversations start at 10:00 AM, followed by our Business Meeting at 10:30 AM which is followed by a guest speaker/program and then lunch is served at noon.
Prospective members and guests are always welcome to attend a meeting/luncheon by making a reservation.
Our fiscal year runs from July 1st – June 30th. Our member dues (which help offset our activities) are payable by June 1st of each year. If you are interested in joining the Lakewood Center Associates, we welcome your inquiry. Please call us at 503-636-8377.
