creative dance.
Introductory Classes
PreBallet 1, PreBallet 2 and Beginning Tap are 45-minute introductory classes where dancers
learn basic ballet and tap technique and terminology through the use of music, props and
imagination in a supportive and encouraging environment. PreBallet 1 is for ages 4 and up.
PreBallet 2 and Beginning Tap are for ages 5 and up.
Beginning Classes
All level 1 & 2 classes are for dancers ages 7 and up. Ballet 1 & 2 transition into a formal
class setting after taking the prerequisite PreBallet classes. Tap, Musical Theatre Dance and
Lyrical are beginner level classes that introduce basic technique and skills in a supportive
and encouraging environment.

Teen classes are intended for high school-aged students. Musical Theatre Dance and Ballet
are open level. No prior dance experience is required. These classes are designed to
welcome dancers of all skill levels to learn and strengthen their technique in a welcoming
and safe environment. We will build on choreography each week in Musical Theatre.
Choreo Collective NEW!
Choreo Collective is a creative class for dancers enrolled in intermediate level classes or
teen classes who are curious about creating their own movement.Throughout the year,
dancers will learn about dance composition through improvisation, musicality exploration
and collaborative challenges. Dancers will focus on different styles while learning how to
build combinations, create formations, collaborate with other dancers and confidently share
their ideas in a welcoming environment. This class will work together to choreograph a
student-created piece to perform in our spring recital.

Why is dress code important?
Wearing the proper dance attire helps create a safe, focused and respectful environment for everyone. It allows our teachers to clearly see dancer’s alignment and technique, which is essential for effective feedback and growth. Following the dress code shows respect for your teacher, the class and the art form. If you have any questions about dress code, please ask instructor Eve.
