FAQ
Here are some questions we frequently receive. If you need more info, please call us at 503-635-3901 or email us at tickets@lakewood-center.org.
Our street address is 368 S. State Street, Lake Oswego, OR 97034.
Lakewood typically offers a mixed blend of musicals, comedies, and plays during its season. Productions are year-round and usually run for 6 or 7 weeks.
Our Headlee mainstage seats 220, and our Side Door cabaret stage seats 90.
Each season we feature guest artists and directors. Many of our actors, musicians, and technicians live in the region and have extensive credits in the performing arts. What unites them is a dedication to excellence, spontaneity, and the craft of their discipline.
Most shows are about 2 or 2½ hours in length, plus intermission.
We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time (earlier is better if you plan to buy tickets at the door). This gives you time to settle in and helps us start on time. Latecomers will be admitted at staff discretion.
While many people enjoy getting a little dressed up for our performances, there is no dress code. If dressing up is not your thing, don’t worry – this is Portland so hiking boots aren’t out of place in our audience.
In consideration of those around you, please remember that some patrons have allergies to strong scents including perfume and cologne.
Only water is allowed to be consumed during a show.
There is a concession counter with wine, beer, soft drinks, and small snacks. Please consume all food and drink before entering the hall.
Call the office during business hours at 503-635-3901 or email tickets@lakewood-center.org. We have a strong track record of reuniting people with their lost items.
We love having kids in our audience, and if adult material is part of the show, you will see it listed in the show description. Please note: a two- or 21/2-hour show can be hard for many children to sit through. We recommend children be 7 years of age or older to attend. You know the kids in your life best, so please use your best judgment when bringing them to shows.
Note: Please, Babes in arms are not permitted.
Yes. Latecomers will be admitted at staff discretion. An usher will help you know when to enter the hall and help direct you to your seat.
Cancellations are rare, but if one occurs, the announcement will be made on our homepage and social media as early as possible.
In the event a show is canceled, you will receive information about whether the concert has been rescheduled and an overview of your ticketing options.
