The North Pole is hosting this year’s annual elf convention and the elves enact a special play to teach the conventioneer’s a lesson in holiday happiness.  Each taking turn in narrating and populating their zany story as characters within it, Gert plays the unhappy princess who takes a long journey to find happiness. Along the way, with her toy bear – played by Peppermint Bear – she is befriended, even tricked by two Trolls (played by Mort and Bert) into thinking that her happiness is something always just out of reach.  It’s up to Peppermint Bear to help her learn just where her happiness lies and, in a nod to TV game shows, how Christmas celebrates those feelings.

The Peppermint Bear show is a classic at Lakewood Theatre Company and it’s perfect for families and full of holiday cheer. Each year a new 45-minute episode is presented. A light continental breakfast with rolls, muffins, donuts, fruit etc and juice, and coffee is provided. It’s a show that is perfect for ages 3-103. Doors open 20 minutes before each show.
