Written in 1957, Tennessee Williams’ gothic drama Suddenly, Last Summer follows wealthy socialite Violet Venable, who attempts to bribe a young brain surgeon into lobotomizing her niece, Catherine, to prevent Catherine from revealing the horrifying truth about the sudden, gruesome death of Violet’s beloved son, Sebastian, during a European vacation.

Directed by college seniors Alex Peery Clark and Sam Knofler, the cast of Suddenly, Last Summer is made up of local college and high school students.

This show will be presented on the Side Door Stage in the Lakewood Center For The Arts in Lake Oswego, OR. Ticket prices range from $25 – 10. Service charges will be applied.
