Join us Friday June 26 at 5 PM for Janice Arnold’s artist talk on the Headlee Mainstage at Lakewood. Her topic, “Extreme Felting: A Wild and Woolly Art Form.” Janice is a guest artist for the 52nd annual Festival of the Arts and her installation art work will be seen on the front columns of Lakewood during the Festival and in our special exhibit gallery!
Since 1999, internationally renowned feltmaker and visual artist Janice Arnold has been felting on a monumental scale, with commissions for Cirque du Soleil, The Gates Foundation, the Nordstrom Corp and the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Her entertaining and inspirational journey begins with the nomads of Kyrgyzstan and continues around the globe. It’s a wild ride and includes lots of sneak peeks behind the scenes of her process and projects! We are excited Ms. Arnold and her art will be in Lake Oswego for “On the Fringe”!
Tickets are $5. Call Lakewood’s box office at 503-635-3901 or order online.
