You Are The Song
This fall, six brave students from Harmony Academy took part in the pilot season of You Are The Song! Throughout the last 7 weeks, every one of them blew us away with their willingness to be vulnerable and support each other through the process.
You Are The Song! is an 8-week Songwriting Experience developed by Stephanie Schneiderman that walks students through the process of lyric writing, melody composition, song arrangement, recording, performing and finally - releasing an original song! Accessible to non-musicians and musicians alike, the purpose of the course is to expand courage, creativity and self-expression, and in doing so - begin to discover and trust your own sensibilities as a songwriter.
The goal is to reveal yourself to yourself - in a song.
