Appetizers with Wine Pairing & Author Carolyn Fyffe at the Plumbs
Join author Caroline Fyffe at an hors d’oeuvres party at the home of Lakewood board member Don and his wife, past board member Sharon Plumb. Caroline will join her husband Mike and share the journey of writing novels with the lucky winner of this event and eight of their friends. Lots of background research goes into publishing and creating… you will be enriched by her comments, indulged by Don’s pairing of wine with each of the 15 hors d’oeuvres that Sharon has perfected. The first nibble is a salmon tartar crisp in a cone with a lovely lemon filling and a nice glass of champagne. Scheduling the party in summer is the best because the flow and progress of the party is not complete until the tasting of three amazing desserts served on a little tray like the “cupcake wars” delivery. What a great way to celebrate something special with friends and learn more about our very own neighbor and member of the Lakewood Associates, Caroline Fyffe!
About the author: Noted romance novelist and best-selling author Caroline Fyffe, an equine photographer, has been in the love with stories of the old West all her life and it has inspired her books from the beginning. Her current collection of novels, the Prairie Hearts Series, are set in the Wyoming Territory in the late 1800s and tells stories of people finding love in the wilderness. Book three in the series, West Winds of Wyoming, was published September 2014. The winning bidder will also receive an autographed book by Caroline Fyffe. Donated by Don & Sharon Plumb and Caroline Fyffe.
