About the Festival
Founded in 1963, the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts is an annual celebration of creativity and community, presented by the Lakewood Center for the Arts. With nearly 25,000 attendees each year, the Festival spans the Lakewood Center and George Rogers Park, transforming Lake Oswego into a hub for artists, performers, and art lovers the weekend after Father’s Day.
The 2025 Featured Exhibit: Animation: Script to Screen
This year, the Festival spotlights the world of stop-motion animation—a craft where intricate artistry meets cinematic storytelling. Animation: Script to Screen will feature behind-the-scenes work and industry insight from top studios including LAIKA, HouseSpecial, ShadowMachine, and Tippett Studio. Co-curated by MOSMA (Museum of Stop Motion Animation) and Tiffany Schuster, the exhibit runs June 20–22 and brings visitors face to face with the creative minds behind this enduring art form.
