Fertile Ground Festival Returns January 30 – February 9

The Fertile Ground Festival returns on January 30 – February 9,  2019 for its 11th Anniversary, bringing with it the world premieres of brand new works written and performed by local Portland artists. Fertile Ground, a Portland-wide festival, “aspires to increase the appreciation for Portland’s lush creative culture” and is put on by the Portland Area Theatre Alliance, a non-profit volunteer organization. Lakewood Theatre Company continues to support these new works by hosting several readings as a part of the Festival on January 26 and February 8, 2020.

This year Lakewood will premiere two new works as staged readings. The first is our Young Playwrights Festival on February 1 at 2:00 PM and the second is The Ghost of David Belasco on February 8 at 2:00 PM. For more info and ticket ordering click here.
