Festival Food Vendor Application

I have read and understand the Oregon Health Authority food safety standards. If I operate a food truck, I am up to date on the Mobile Food Unit Rule Changes that took place in 2020. I understand that my booth/truck will be inspected during the Festival.

I will read and complete the Mobile Food Unit Guide checklist. I understand that my space will be inspected by the Fire Marshall and must be in compliance with all state and city fire code rules.

2024 LAKE OSWEGO FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS VENDOR RULES AND REQUIREMENTS

1. Vendors will comply with all State and Clackamas County health regulations: copies of licenses and General Liability Insurance coverage must be provided. Upon acceptance, a check payable to “The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts” for booth fee and a finalized menu and pricing sheet must be in the Festival office by April 25, 2024 or applicant will be denied a booth space. In addition, a “Hold Harmless” insurance rider, naming “The Lakewood Center /Festival of the Arts” in the amount of $500,000 is also required. 

2. Service hours are Friday and Saturday (June 21 & 22), 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Sunday (June 23) 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Vendors who serve breakfast items and/or coffee will be ready to serve at 9 AM all days and continue until Park closing time each day. Vendors who do not serve breakfast-type items have the option of opening at 10:00 AM.  Booths/Carts may not be closed during the Festival hours. Re-stocking may be done before and after Festival hours.

3. There is limited electricity available. Vendors are only allowed to use the appliances listed on their application. All changes/additions must be approved in advance by the Food Vendor Coordinator. All appliances, extension cords, hoses, etc. must be commercial grade and in good working order. City electrician will be on site on Friday to inspect equipment.  

4. Vendors are to be set up as a self-contained “kitchen.” Vendors are responsible for clean work areas at all times and supply their own trash bags. Vendors should be prepared for inclement weather and protection of the kitchen.

5. All vendors are required to accept electronic (NOT MANUAL) credit and debit cards. No exceptions.

6. Vendors may only sell the food items listed on their final approved menu. No changes are allowed unless cleared by the Food Vendor Coordinator.

7. Designated parking for two vehicles per vendor is provided on location. There is off-site parking and a free shuttle provided for vendors, if needed.

8. Security is provided by the Festival from Park closing to Park opening each day, beginning on Thursday evening. Valuables/money should not be left in your booth, as the Festival is not responsible for theft or damage. All equipment/tables should be covered at close of each day. 

9. All vendors must comply with city and state fire laws, regulations and requirements. Vendor must also provide one approved fire extinguisher to be located within the food booth/cart. A fire marshal will make an inspection. 

10. The Festival reserves the right to make compliance decisions concerning quality of food, price of food, signage, and overall appearance of the booth/cart.
