Check out the famous Missoula Children’s Theatre and its performance of Robin Hood. Over 60 Lake Oswego Youth will act and sing in this classic medieval tale featuring all sorts of zany characters. The original adaptation will feature songs, costumes and delightful scenery that only Missoula Children’s Theatre could provide. The performances are the climax of a week’s worth of auditions and rehearsals for students in 1st through 12th grades.
Adapted by Michael McGill | Music by Michael McGill
The time is simply long ago and the place is the magical, mythical Sherwood Forest. Our hero, Robin Hood, and his Merry Band of colorful characters seek the help of the Foresters, manage to waylay the Aristocrats and set out to rescue Maid Marion and Marion’s Maid. Prince John tries to stay calm as his Sheriff, guards and horsemen botch Robin’s arrest thanks to the aromatic Skunks. Wacky humor and an original score add to this fresh new look at a legendary outlaw in a legendary time.

Imagination Station: Head into the Lakewood Center and check out our featured exhibit, the Imagination Menagerie, where you will find Imagination Station. Color or create your own imaginary animal!
Imagination Collage: Volunteers from the Lake Oswego Public Library need your help to create a colorful, unique collage. Take your imagination to the limit and beyond as you dream up new things to add to the collage. For all ages. After the Festival, the completed collage will be on display at the library.
Future Famous Artists Parade: March, hop, or walk in the beloved youth parade that winds through the already-famous artists’ booths in George Rogers Park.
Rock Painting: Choose to paint your favorite animal, bug or flower on a rock. Or transform your rock into a fantastic creature or a mandala. The choice is yours: keep your rock or donate it to the Lakewood Garden.
CANCELED: Play with Clay. We'll be back next year!
Storytime with SMART: Start the morning or end the day listening to a story while having a snack. Or you can choose to read one of the books in our reading corner.
Everyday Activities. Every day of the Festival between 10 am and 4 pm, the Youth Activities Tent will offer ongoing drawing, coloring, bubbles, and temporary tattoos in addition to all of the scheduled activities. No matter when you stop by the Youth Tent, you’re sure to have fun.
Kids’ Crafts: presented by Affordable Estate Planning on the deck at Lakewood Center on Sunday afternoon.
