On September 26th, we were thrilled to welcome representatives from the Mostly Operational Robotics Team during our Wednesday performance of R.U.R. The club members engaged with our audience, offering insightful discussions about robotics and the ever-growing role of technology in our daily lives—an especially timely topic. Their showcase of talents brought an exciting layer of relevance to the futuristic themes of the show!

Mostly Operational is a student led, mentor facilitated team of dedicated, passionate individuals from LO Robotics. Lake Oswego Robotics is a non-profit, volunteer led organization that sponsors extra-curricular activities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for students in Lake Oswego. Their activity is organizing robotics teams that participate in FIRST, a global  community focused on innovation, teamwork and competition.  They strive to offer a safe and inclusive environment that fosters life skills like collaboration, self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Lakewood Theatre’s Wine on Wednesday events feature tastings from local wineries and often have special guests! Be sure to catch this unique experience at select performances throughout the run of our shows!
