LAKEWOOD IN LIGHTS 2010

 
 

 

Come celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with Lakewood in Lights 2010 on December 6, 2010 from 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM. This annual holiday event is a fundraiser for Lakewood hosted by Margie Boule and Joe Theissen. The event features food, music, dance, and a tree auction to benefit the rising star program (performance and education opportunities for youth) at Lakewood Theatre Company.

 

 

Tickets are available for $50.00 ($35 tax-deductible) at the Lakewood

About the event: The halls of Lakewood Center for the Arts are
decorated for the holidays by the Lakewood Center Associates, a support
auxiliary of Lakewood Center. On December 6, 2010, at 5:30 PM the event
begins with a silent auction, raffles, drinks and hearty hors d’oeuvres.
Musical performances by local artists matched with a tree auction
begins at 6:30 PM.

Featured performers include  Amy Beth Frankel,  Doug Webster, Alan D. Lytle, Joy Fischer, Sally Harmon, Frank Gruner and many others! Steve Knox, noted Lake Oswego/Portland director directs the entertainment, Margie Boule and Joe Theissen host the festivities and the Lakewood Center Board of Directors stages the event.

Event co-chairs, and Lakewood Board members, Linda Brown and Rocky Johnson,
note that this year’s event will include featured auction items of a Chocolate and Champage Party for 30 at the bidder’s home and a Fabulous Progressive Dinner on Lake Oswego for Six. 

In addition, a raffle drawing will be held for a Weekend Wine Getaway for 8. This package includes: Winemaker’s Dinner for 8, overnight stay for 4 couples at the Inn at Red Hills, Dundee; and a half-day wine tour of three area wineries. The value is $2,000.Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. (See details below).

Buy your tickets now for a fabulous raffle prize that will be awarded Dec. 6th during the evening at Lakewood in Lights – a winemaker’s dinner for eight at Farm to Fork Restaurant in Dundee! Recently profiled in Travel and Leisure magazine, this restaurant has earned an enviable reputation for fine food and drink.

The package, valued at $2,000, also includes a chauffeured tour of three wineries and an overnight stay for four couples at the Inn at Red Hills. Offer valid January 1 – April 30, 2011. Tickets are $10 each or three for $25.
