2008 Dunham Cellars 3-Legged Red by Vehrs

  • Using grapes from some of the finest vineyards in the Walla Walla, Yakima and Columbia Valleys, Dunham Cellars has established an award-winning reputation for their wines. When their first vintage, a 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon was released, it was deemed one of the finest wines made in Washington by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Subsequent vintages and varietals have also earned high marks with both wine writers and consumers.

2009 Castlet Barbera d’Asti – Estate by Casa Bruno

  • Barbera d’Asti is one of the most famous wine areas in Italy’s northwestern Piedmont region. It became a DOC in 1970 and was upgraded to its DOCG classification in 2008, adding to Piedmont’s already impressive standing at this highest level of Italian wine classification. The Barbera d’Asti title covers the area around the town of Asti, and exclusively focuses on red wines made from Barbera. Barbera is a firm favorite among winemakers and consumers.

Owner Claude Courtil is the godson of none other than Henri Bonneau, one of the most legendary and revered producers in the region, and he learned everything he knows about winemaking from his godfather. Henri and Claude share a deeply held commitment to natural winemaking: manual vineyard work, traditional aging in large casks, and bottling without intrusive fining and filtration.
