The Lake Oswego Library will be presenting Lakewood Theatre Company director Alan Shearman on Wednesday, January 11, at 1:00 p.m. A popular and award winning director of plays at the Lakewood Theatre Company, Mr. Shearman lives in Los Angeles, where he has worked on hundreds of movies and TV shows as an actor, writer, and voiceover artist. His passion for theatre ignited as a child with a role in Dicken’s A Christmas Carol, and has led him on a circuitous path from his native London to Lake Oswego via London’s West End, Broadway and Hollywood. At Lakewood, he has directed an assortment of comedies, farces, and musicals, and will next be directing a twist-filled murder mystery, Deadly Murder set to open at Lakewood on January 13, 2012.
