CALL TO ARTISTS:

What creatures live in your dreams? Are they fuzzy and cute or scaled and fierce? Do they have wings or horns? How many eyes do they have? Get your crayons, colored pencils, or paints out and show us the best of your imagination!

We’re inviting students grades K-8 to draw us an incredible imaginary animal. A team of professional artists will select pieces from student submissions and recreate the animal in their chosen medium!

Please note we’re accepting student submissions ONLY for this exhibit in 2023 for the Festival of the Arts in 2024. This exhibit will not be part of the 2023 Festival of the Arts. All work will be collected digitally. Chosen works will be printed for the exhibit.

ABOUT THE 61ST ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS

Founded in 1963, The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts is an annual arts education program of Lakewood Center for the Arts and is traditionally held at Lakewood Center and George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego, Oregon. It is held the weekend after Father’s Day each year and attracts nearly 25,000 people. In 2024, we‘ll continue to create several unique art exhibits at Lakewood Center for the Arts and George Rogers Park.
