The 27th annual Holiday Magic Breakfast Theatre at Lakewood Center will once again herald in the holiday season with The Peppermint Bear Show. This Lakewood tradition is perfect for all ages, and includes a continental breakfast and mingling with members of the cast before the show. Expect an appearance from Santa after the show!
This year, The Peppermint Bear Show presents Who Needs Sneeds?, a musical heist to save Christmas! Santa’s elves, with help from the Peppermint Bear, are rehearsing for their Christmas show when the evil Sneed brothers show up plotting to take Santa’s Christmas gifts before his yearly sleigh ride on Christmas Eve. The Herdmans were absolutely the worst kids in the history of the world. They lied and stole and talked back to their teachers. So it surprised just about everybody when they decided to take part in the town’s Christmas Pageant. The Herdman kids had never heard of the Christmas story, but the way they interpreted it, you’d think the story of Jesus came right out of the F.B.I. files (they called the Wise Men a bunch of dirty spies).
