ANNUAL MEETING – LAKEWOOD THEATRE COMPANY dba LAKEWOOD CENTER FOR THE ARTS

For this year, Lakewood’s board of directors has decided to split out the annual meeting from the OTAS Awards. The annual member meeting of the corporation will take place in the morning on June 30, 2011 from 8:00 – 9:00 AM at the Headlee Mainstage, Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State Street in Lake Oswego. Below is information regarding matters to be discussed.

Matters to be considered at the annual meeting of the corporation:
    1. Selection of Officers for the Board of the corporation
    2. Selection of Directors for the Board of the corporation

The following individuals are recommended by the Nominating Committee to serve on the Board of Directors. The expiration of their term is indicated in parenthesis after their name.

    1. Selection of Officers:
        For officers in the 2011-12 year the Nominating Committee recommends the membership elect current Board member Fred Baldwin as President of the board for a one (1) year term for the year 2011-12. It is further recommended that current Board member, and Secretary/Treasurer, Don Irving be re-elected as Treasurer for a one (1) year term for the year 2011-12.

OFFICER BIOS:

FRED BALDWIN – PRESIDENT
(officer term expires 2012) a Lake Oswego resident, has served in leadership roles with the Lake Oswego Library Board, Lake Oswego Reads, Mortgage Bankers Association, Halfway House and New Avenues for Youth. He has been a frequent sponsor and participant in Lakewood programs and is the recipient of the Citizen’s Award from the City of Lake Oswego. He has served on Lakewood’s board since 2008. Mr. Baldwin, a former mortgage banker, is now an owner of World Class Wines in Lake Oswego.

DON IRVING – SECRETARY/TREASURER (officer term expires 2012) a Lake Oswego resident, is a retired Engagement Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. Irving is an Adjunct Instructor at OHSU teaching courses in health care finance, managerial accounting and corporate finance to graduate students in the health care and technology fields. His civic volunteer activities have included Saturday Academy, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Lake Oswego Rotary. For Lakewood, he has served on the Festival of the Arts finance committee for the last three years and as Treasurer for one year.

FRED BALDWIN (2014), a long-time Lake Oswego resident, has served in leadership roles with the Lake Oswego Library Board, Lake Oswego Reads, Mortgage Bankers Association, Halfway House and New Avenues for Youth. He has been a frequent sponsor and participant in Lakewood programs. He is the recipient of the Citizen’s Award from the City of Lake Oswego.

JEANNE DENTON (2014) a resident of Lake Oswego, was president of the Lakewood Center Associates for the 2010-11 year. For the Associates, Jeanne has served as Publicity Chair, Consignment Chair and ReRuns Manager. For Resurrection Catholic Church she co-chaired their annual auction fundraiser from 1997-2007. Jeanne worked with Jafco, which later became  Best Products, coordinating catalog, showroom and retail sales. She is now an owner, with husband Mike, of Denton Resources, Inc. Serving on the Lakewood Board continues a long tradition of family volunteering at Lakewood.

LORRI KEHOE (2014) a long-time resident of Lake Oswego, worked for 17 years in marketing for Medtronic, Inc. and was their National Top Salesman and National Trainer, Sales Representative of the Year. She has also had management and leadership roles at Johnson and Johnson/Ethicon Inc. and Xerox Corporation. Her civic activities are numerous and a partial listing includes Loaves and Fishes/Meals on Wheels, National Charity League, Fellowship of Christian Athletics, CASA and past Campaign Chair of the Riverdale Foundation.

JERRY KOLL (2014) is a founding partner of Koll-Lenhoff and DIBroker, a national distributor of individual disability insurance located in Lake Oswego. Jerry and his wife Marge have resided in Lake Oswego since 1975.  He holds a B.A. in Music Education and professional designations for insurance (CLU) and financial services (ChFC).  Jerry is active in his church and in community volunteer activities. He is a charter member of Novum Chamber Singers as a participant, board member and officer. Jerry is a member of the Board of Directors for the Concordia University Foundation and serves on the finance committee.  He has served on the Lakewood Board of Directors since 2002 He also served as Treasurer for three years and was the President for 2010-11.

TOM LASLEY (2014
) works as  Director of Destination Medical Services for Providence Portland Medical Center and he volunteers his time for the board of Providence. With his wife, Marcy, he also implements the Providence Pastoral and Spiritual Care Program. Tom also serves on the board for the  Delta Society. He has lived in Lake Oswego for the past 33 years and has served on the Lakewood board since 2003.For Lakewood, Tom serves on the Lakewood In Lights committee and the show sponsorship committee.

BILL WARNER  (2014) is an owner of Sturdi-Built Greenhouses located in Lake Oswego. In past years he has been active with parent groups at Lake Oswego High School and the advisory board for his church. Bill is a past President of the Lake Oswego Rotary Club and of the Lakewood Center. Bill has served in several prominent leadership positions  to raise funds for the new stage house and for the endowment fund. He is the recipient of the Lake Oswego Community Leader of the Year Award and the Heritage Award from Lakewood Theatre Company.  Bill has been on the board of Lakewood since 1994.

ROLF SOHLBERG (2012) a Lake Oswego resident, is an orthopedic surgeon and medical director with the Orthopedic & Fracture Clinic in Portland. Mr. Sohlberg is a graduate of Stanford and earned his medical degree at the University of Washington. He has been a long-time member of Lake Grove Presbyterian Church and has been a parent volunteer for Forest Hills School, Lake Oswego Junior High and Lake Oswego High School.

JOANN FRANKEL (2012) is the incoming President of the Lakewood Center Associates, a support auxiliary of Lakewood. Joann has worked with the State of Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industries and was a manager of civil rights field offices throughout the state of Oregon. In the private sector she has been a manager of family rental properties and the proprietor of an Indonesian furniture and accessories retail/export company. In volunteer service she has served as President of Surabaya Women’s Association in Indonesia, President of the Jakarta American Women’s Association and board member of the Singapore American Women’s Association.
