ABOUT THE 61ST ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS

Established in 1963, The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts is an annual celebration of artistic expression, fostering creativity through a dynamic arts education program hosted by the Lakewood Center for the Arts. Traditionally located at both Lakewood Center and George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego, Oregon, this vibrant event takes place each year on the weekend following Father's Day, drawing a crowd of nearly 25,000 individuals.

In 2024, we are thrilled to mark 61 years of inspiring a love of the arts with Imagine That! featuring a multitude of unique art exhibits and programming that seeks to spark inspiration, imagination and joy. Join us in commemorating the enduring spirit of creativity that has defined our festival for over six decades.

THE CALL:

Showcase your cause to 25,000 art enthusiasts!

We’re inviting Oregon non-profits to exhibit at the Open Show Express during the Festival of the Arts! The OSE is an inclusive, non-juried art exhibition in our giant white pavilion tent that celebrates the rich diversity and creativity of artists at various stages of their careers. We’re opening our doors to community nonprofits in hopes that you will join this dynamic showcase, fostering a collaborative and appreciative spirit among community heroes, artists and art enthusiasts alike.

Participating in the Festival's time-honored tradition offers numerous benefits. By exhibiting your artwork in the pavilion tent, you contribute to making art more accessible to a diverse audience, dismantling barriers to entry. Join us in this meaningful endeavor and make your mark at the Festival of the Arts!
