The Annual Meeting – 8:30 AM, Friday, June 28, 2013
The annual member meeting of the corporation will take place in the morning on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at the Headlee Mainstage, Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State Street in Lake Oswego. Below is information regarding matters to be discussed.

The OTAS Awards – 6:30 PM, Sunday, June 30, 2013
To celebrate the end of our 60th season and the wonderful work of our actors, musicians, technicians and artistic personnel, this year’s OTAS Awards Party will be held in the Community Meeting Room at Lakewood Center on Sunday evening June 30, 2013 at 6:30 PM. We’ll have hearty hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and music. Casts are invited to reunite and celebrate with us the end of a fabulous season. Whether you’ve been onstage, backstage or in the audience cheering us on, we hope you’ll take this opportunity to join us for a fun evening. We hope you can attend!

Matters to be considered at the annual meeting of the corporation:
    1. Selection of Officers for the Board of the corporation
    2. Selection of Directors for the Board of the corporation

The following individuals are recommended by the Nominating Committee to serve on the Board of Directors. The expiration of their term is indicated in parenthesis after their name.

    1. Selection of Officers:
        For officers in the 2013-14 year the Nominating Committee recommends the membership elect current Board member Michelle Dorman as President of the board for a one (1) year term for the year 2013-14. It is further recommended that current Board member, and Secretary/Treasurer, Don Irving be re-elected as Treasurer for a one (1) year term for the year 2013-14.

OFFICER BIOS:

MICHELLE DORMAN – PRESIDENT (officer term expires 2014) joined the Lakewood board in 2009 and has been active in Marketing, Executive, Finance, Membership and Building Renovation Committees. Past volunteer work includes service with PEO, Past President of Forest Hills PTO, Parent Club President L.O. Junior High and Grants Chairperson for L.O. High School. She is also active with National Charity League and the Women’s Care Foundation.

DON IRVING – SECRETARY/TREASURER (officer term expires 2014) a Lake Oswego resident, is a retired Engagement Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. Irving has been an Adjunct Instructor at OHSU teaching courses in health care finance, managerial accounting and corporate finance to graduate students in the health care and technology fields. His civic volunteer activities have included Saturday Academy, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Lake Oswego Rotary. For Lakewood, he has served on the Festival of the Arts finance committee for the last five years and as Treasurer for three years.

2. Selection of Directors:
        For directors the Committee recommends the membership elect the following with terms to expire as marked in parenthesis.     

FRED BREUER (2016) is the owner of Bruco Construction Company, a local contracting firm. A northwest native, Fred has lived in Lake Oswego for  the past 32 years with his wife Rita and two children. He is an avid supporter of the theatre and has helped Lakewood supervise the maintenance and care of the facility for many years.

LINDA BROWN (2016) is a member of the Lake Oswego School Board. Her volunteer activities have included OSBA, Lake Oswego Library, the Adult Community Center, the LOABC Board, Blue Heron Neighborhood Board, the Tualatin Valley TV Board, Junior Women of Lake Oswego and Lake Oswego Rotary and Three Rivers Land Conservancy.

MICHAEL C. DOTTEN (2015) has been a Lakewood member and subscriber for the past 20 years. His civic credits include: Founder and Board Member of Health Bridges International Inc. (2006- present) a non-profit international medical relief organization); Arlington Club (President, Toastmasters, 2006, Chair, Wine Committee 2006-2008; Chair, Entertainment Committee (2007-2008); Finance Committee (2010-11; Board of Directors (2011- present);  William Temple House,  President (1998-99),  Vice President (1997-98) of the Board of Directors & Chair, Development Committee (1994-98  (Non-profit social service agency); Christ Church Episcopal Parish—Vestry Member 2000-2003; Senior Warden 2001-2003; Steering Committee-Capital Campaign (1999);  Co-chair, Stewardship Committee (1997-98) University of Oregon Law School Alumni Assoc. President, (1989-1992); Board Member (1985-92); Oregon Campaign for Equal Justice–Advisory Committee, 1992-present; service on numerous committees and sections of the American Bar Association and  Oregon State Bar (mostly in the 1990s).

JOANN FRANKEL (2016) served as President of the Lakewood Center Associates, a support auxiliary of Lakewood, from 2011-13. Joann has worked with the State of Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industries and was a manager of civil rights field offices throughout the state of Oregon. In the private sector she has been a manager of family rental properties and the proprietor of an Indonesian furniture and accessories retail/export company. In volunteer service she has served as President of Surabaya Women’s Association in Indonesia, President of the Jakarta American Women’s Association and board member of the Singapore American Women’s Association.

CYNDIE GLAZER (2016) is the Programs and Volunteer Services Coordinator with the Lake Oswego Library. Cyndie has been an active volunteer with the annual Rotary Auction and Lobster Feed for the past several years, serving as Co-Chair in 1997. She has been a member of the board since 1994 and served as President in 2009-10. Other civic credits include service with the Lake Oswego School District Foundation and the board of the Portland Creative Conference.

JEFF KANTOR (2016) is a financial advisor with Umpqua Investments. For Lakewood he has been for the past year the co-chair of the Fundraising/Finance Committee for the Festival of Arts. Civic activities include L.O. Rotary (auction chair), Lake Oswego School District Foundation, Our Lady of the Lake Endowment Board and soccer coach.

BARBARA KEHOE (2014) is the incoming President of the Lakewood Center Associates, a support auxiliary of Lakewood. She was a secondary school teacher in the Lake Oswego School District for 21 years. She has been a Lake Oswego resident since 1971 and volunteers with the Associates on their fund-raisers to support Lakewood activities.

RAMZAN MAGOMEDOV (2016) is a graduate of Saratov University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology with a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. His volunteer duties in the community include the Clackamas County Economic Development Commission, Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce and Lake Oswego Rotary. He is the owner of Griffon May Inc. an investment firm in Lake Oswego.

GAIL PEMBLE (2016) is a retired Private Banker for Northwest Bank in Lake Oswego. She has been active with Lakewood in Lights as a committee member. She is also a board member of the University Club and was once involved with Portland Civic Theater. She is a graduate of OSU and is a Certified Financial Planner.

BRIDGET SMITH (2015) is the Vice President of Marketing and Administration at The Bank of Oswego. She has a B.A. in Communications and a M.A. in Rhetorical Studies. She has worked with several non-profits in Colorado over a 20 year span. Since moving the Lake Oswego she has helped on several Lakewood fundraisers and events . In 2012 she served as co-chair of our annual summer party.

The board of directors wishes to express its appreciation to Linda Kerl and Lorri Kehoe
who will be retiring from the board this year. Your years of service are very much appreciated!
