Lake Oswego Reads at Lakewood

The Lake Oswego Public Library features the book Running the Rift in its popular Lake Oswego Reads program during January and February, 2013. Lakewood Center is partnering with the library in this program. The public is invited to a free panel discussion held on the Headlee Mainstage at Lakewood on Monday, February 4th at 7 PM.

The discussion will include local Olympic athletes, Terry Dischinger (gold medal, 1960 Olympics in basketball), Alison Gregorka (silver medal, 2008 Olympics in water polo) and Je Kyoung Kim (gold medal, 1992 Olympics in taekwondo).

Chad Carter, KOIN TV news anchor, will lead discussion points including their motivation for striving towards Olympic excellence, what it was like attending the Olympics, and their current involvement in their sport of choice. For more information, visit www.lakeoswegoreads.org
