This event is a fundraiser staged by the Lakewood Center Associates (a support auxiliary of Lakewood Center for the Arts).

From the creator of the hit show Chocolate Confessions comes a new Valentine’s celebration you won’t want to miss! Joan Freed returns to the Lakewood Mainstage with a performance guaranteed to bring laughs to all familiar with the foibles of the heart.

My Funny Valentine: Great Comic Love Songs from Musicals You May Have Missed features some of the cleverest songs ever written for the Broadway stage. Comedienne/singer Joan Freed will be joined by many of your favorite Lakewood Theatre performers as they share their hilarious show stoppers.

Enjoy complimentary champagne, chocolates (from Bernard C. Chocolates) and more starting at 7:00 PM.

Net proceeds benefit the new proposed Artist Training Facility to be built at Lakewood. This much needed addition will provide additional rehearsal and educational space for programs at the Lakewood Center for the Arts. (Click here to see more about this planned project at Lakewood).
