Karen Azinger is the epic fantasy author of The Silk & Steel Saga. She is lauded for her rich world building and complex character development. Several reviewers compare her Silk & Steel Saga to masterworks like “Game of Thrones” and “Wheel of Time”.  The Pacific Northwest Glass Guild members have created specific pieces that are inspired from the book. Each show card has a quote from the book that presents part of the story to you. This talented group promotes the value and significance of glass art to the public, while providing opportunities for existing and potential glass artists to develop their skills through education and fellowship.
