Recent Lakewood roles: Mrs. Sowerberry, Oliver! (Sept. 2009)

Rosemary Brownlow (Mrs. Sowerberry) is excited to be a part of the story that made her last name famous! She is a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy and most recently of Whitman College, having escaped Walla Walla with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre just last May. Favorite roles at Whitman include Rachel in My Name is Rachel Corrie, Helena/Snug in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Adele in Five Flights, Lady Britomart in Major Barbara, and Mrs. Webb in Our Town. Rosemary also spent a semester studying classical acting at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts. She plans to be living in New York City and pursuing an acting career by Halloween.
